Who we are

Tivaro Digital ("we", "us") designs, builds and looks after websites. We are the controller of the personal information described here. If you have any questions, email us at info@tivarodigital.co.uk.

What we collect

We only collect what we need to talk to you and to do the work:

• Details you send through our forms: your name, email address, phone number, business name, website and anything you tell us about your project.
• If you become a client: billing details (name, business and address), the content you send us for your website, and messages you send through your project page.
• Records of invoices and payments.
• Anonymous visit counts. We count page views without cookies. To count unique visitors, we use a scrambled code made from your IP address and browser that changes every day and cannot be turned back into either.

How we use it

We use your information to reply to your enquiry, prepare quotes, build and look after your website, send you invoices, and keep the records the law requires. We never sell your information, and we never use it for unrelated marketing.

Our legal bases are: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (enquiries and quotes), performing our contract with you (building and looking after your site), our legal obligations (accounting records), and our legitimate interest in running and securing our business.

Who we share it with

Only the services we need to run the business: our web host, our email provider and, if you have one, the domain registrar we register your domain with. Each one only gets what it needs to provide its service. We may also have to share information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries that do not go ahead: up to 2 years, then deleted.
• Client and project records: for as long as we work together, and up to 2 years after.
• Invoices and payment records: 6 years, as HMRC requires.

Cookies

Our public website does not use tracking or advertising cookies, so there is no cookie banner. The only cookie we set is a login cookie for our own admin area, which visitors never receive.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. To do any of these, email us at info@tivarodigital.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you're unhappy with how we've handled your information.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
